Ecommerce Web Design
Online shops that actually sell.
Ecommerce web design for Irish businesses — Shopify, WooCommerce or custom. We build the shop, handle Irish VAT and card payments, and make it fast enough to turn browsers into buyers. In Dublin and right across Ireland.
An online shop is more than a website
A brochure site shows information. A shop has to take money and fulfil orders — a catalogue, a secure checkout, a payment gateway, VAT handling, shipping, and an admin you can actually run. The design is the part customers see; the rest is the plumbing that decides whether running the shop is a pleasure or a part-time job you did not want. We build all of it, and hand you a store you can manage yourself.
The right platform for your shop
Shopify
Hosted, easiest to run
The simplest way to sell. Shopify hosts everything, keeps it secure, and gives you an admin you can run yourself. Best for most Irish shops that want to sell without becoming a webmaster.
WooCommerce
WordPress, most flexible
More flexible and lower running costs, with no platform transaction cut beyond your payment processor. The trade-off is maintenance — which we can handle for you on a care plan.
Custom build
Bespoke, built for scale
When an off-the-shelf platform will not fit — complex products, a particular customer experience, serious performance needs — we build a bespoke store on a modern, fast framework.
Not sure which fits? Our guide to ecommerce web design in Ireland walks through the platforms, real costs and how to choose — or just tell us about your shop and we will recommend the right one.

Common questions about ecommerce web design
How much does ecommerce web design cost in Ireland?
A starter online shop with a small catalogue begins around € 999. A larger store with custom design, more products and integrations typically runs € 1,500 to € 5,000. On top of the build sit running costs — the platform fee and payment processing on each sale. We give you a clear, fixed quote upfront for your specific shop.
Do you build on Shopify or WooCommerce?
Both — we recommend whichever fits your shop. Shopify is hosted and easiest to run yourself; WooCommerce (WordPress) is more flexible with lower running costs if you have help maintaining it. For larger or unusual shops we also build custom stores on a modern framework.
Will my shop handle Irish VAT correctly?
Yes. If you are VAT-registered we set the shop up to charge and report VAT correctly, including the EU One-Stop-Shop (OSS) rules if you sell to consumers in other EU countries. This is built in from the start, not bolted on later.
Can customers pay by card?
Yes. We set up secure card payments through Stripe or your preferred gateway, so customers can check out safely. We will walk you through the per-transaction costs so there are no surprises on each sale.
Do you work with shops outside Dublin?
Yes — we are an Irish studio working remotely with businesses across the whole country, from Dublin and Cork to the smallest towns. Everything is handled over video calls, email and WhatsApp, so your location never adds cost or delay.
How long does an online shop take to build?
A straightforward Shopify or WooCommerce shop with a small catalogue is usually 2 to 5 weeks. Larger catalogues and custom features take longer. We start with a clear plan so you know the timeline before we begin.
