Google Ads questions and answers
- How much should I spend on Google Ads?
- Two things are separate: our management fee (shown above) and your ad budget, which you pay Google directly and control entirely. We recommend a realistic starting budget for your goals and area — you're never locked in and can adjust it any time.
- Is there a contract for Google Ads management?
- No long-term contract. Management is month to month — you can pause or stop whenever you like. We'd rather keep you because the results are working than because a contract traps you.
- How quickly will I see leads from Google Ads?
- Unlike SEO, ads can bring enquiries within days of going live, because you appear at the top for the right searches immediately. We then spend the first weeks tuning the campaign so every euro works harder.
- What do you actually manage each month?
- Campaign setup and structure, keyword and audience targeting, ad copy, negative keywords to stop wasted spend, landing-page advice, and a clear monthly report on exactly what your budget delivered.
- Do you take a percentage of my ad spend?
- No. Our fee is a flat monthly amount, shown in the pricing section above, and it doesn't change when your budget does. That matters: a percentage fee quietly rewards an agency for spending more of your money, which is the opposite of what you're hiring one for.
- Who owns the Google Ads account?
- You do. We set it up under your business or work inside the account you already have, and you keep the login. If we ever part ways, the account, its history and everything we learned in it stay with you.
- Do I need a website before running ads?
- You need somewhere for the click to land, and it needs to load fast and say clearly what you do. Ads pointing at a slow or confusing page burn budget with nothing to show for it. If your current page isn't ready we'll tell you before you spend anything, and we'd rather fix that first than take a monthly fee for a campaign that can't work.
- Can you take over an account someone else set up?
- Yes, and it's common. We start by going through what's actually there: which searches have been triggering your ads, where the budget has been going, and what's been running untouched. Inherited accounts usually have obvious waste in them, and cutting that is often the fastest gain available.
- Why do my ads show for searches I don't want?
- Because Google matches your keywords loosely by default, so a plumber can end up paying for someone searching for a plumbing course. The fix is negative keywords, a list of terms you refuse to pay for, and that list is never finished. Reviewing search terms and growing it is one of the main jobs we do each month.
- What happens if I stop the ads?
- The traffic stops that day. Ads are rented attention: they work immediately and they end immediately. That's the honest trade-off against SEO, which takes months to build and then keeps going. If you want leads this week, ads are the answer. If you want traffic that stays, they shouldn't be the only thing you do.
